The foundation design for a turbine is always site specific.  AWE has prepared some standard foundation designs.  The end design will need to have a structural engineer’s approval.  AWE will provide mass and loading data for the engineer designing the foundation.

• Mono-pile
• Pile group
• Gravity or anchored footing
